Valentine’s Day….. oh how we LOVE you!

Over 110 million valentine’s roses are sold and delivered in a three-day period surrounding February 14th, the vast majority of which are red. Of those 110 million, 73% are purchased by men and only 27% are purchased by women. Our boutique was overflowing in beautiful blooms including our favourite variety of red rose {RED PARIS}. Sounds like a little piece of heaven, indeed they were! We embraced the hustle & bustle of the day, well aware that 80% of our male clientele would walk in February 14th & ask “do you have any flowers left?” Over 6,000 blooms later, we were happy our LOVE for flowers helped you express your LOVE. Cheers to one of the busiest days of the floral industry! xo

To be able to do what you love everyday is a blessing….to be able to work with amazing vendors is a bonus…..to be fortunate enough to create and share my passion with incredible couples and their families is an honour! As we reflect back on this year, the   De Rose team has had the pleasure of working with some incredible people. This not only includes our valued clients but also our valued vendors.  We have selected a few photos to share from various events that took place this year. This was a very challenging task! We promise there will be more to come. I have been in LOVE with flowers for as long as I can remember. The smell, the textures, the colours, the overall beauty that nature beholds. Every Monday, I enter numerous coolers (a.k.a floral fridge) of our local suppliers with excitement and passion. I am a kid in a candy store in these cool boxes full of endless possibility and so excited to examine the vast display of product. I am in search of the freshest floral, the most unique bloom, the biggest and the best! As the rest of the world wakes up to the typical “I hate Mondays” syndrome, I have grown to love this journey that is my routine Monday. It’s different for me. I love Mondays.
